Introducing Winnipeg Chiropractor, Dr. Arnold Cohn

Dr. Arnold Cohn of Polo Park Chiropractic Centre adjusts a patient.I have lived in Winnipeg for the past 25 years. Born and raised in South America I came to Canada as a teenager in search of safety, freedom and a place to call home. As a newcomer I soon made new friends and learned first hand how friendly and welcoming Canadians are; I was “home.”

After attending High School at the University of Winnipeg Collegiate, I went on to complete my Bachelor of Science at the University of Manitoba. While researching my career choice, I became fascinated with chiropractic. Its natural approach to healing through hands on treatment of the spine and its philosophy of nurturing and optimizing the function of the human body made total sense to me.

I completed my training at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1990 and moved back to Winnipeg and started private practice.

Dr. Cohn adjusts the back of a patient.I married Carla, my high school sweetheart in 1991. Carla is a General Dentist limiting her practice exclusively to children. Together we have three very active boys: Sam, Daniel and Joel. Family is number one on our list of priorities. We are very actively involved in all of their school and extracurricular activities.

As your chiropractor, my goal is to help you regain your health in a natural and non-invasive manner. I will strive to make you actively participate in your recovery by introducing proper habits of good posture, exercise, diet and rest and relaxation. This, in addition to regular chiropractic care, will help your body and mind, achieve optimum health.

Balance is the key. Creating a plan of action makes you be in control of your health instead of your health being in control of you.

Dr. Arnold Asks some important questions of interest to Winnipeg residents - Chiropractor Winnipeg Dr. Arnold Asks...

Can chiropractic cure a child's ear infections?
Chiropractic isn't a cure for anything. Nor is it a treatment for ear infections. However, many children who suffer with ear infections also suffer from spinal problems in their neck, compromising nerves to the ear, depressing the immune system and preventing proper drainage. Can chiropractic help? Find out!
What causes vertebral subluxations?
Chiropractors acknowledge three types of stress: physical, chemical and emotional. When the adaptive capacity of your body is compromised, weakened areas along the spine can become involved. Muscles tighten, spinal joints lock up and nearby nerves are affected. The purpose of chiropractic care is to find these areas and restore balance, alignment and motion.
